Canadian Menu Planning Guidelines Development

Early in 2018, The Canadian Malnutrition Task Force (Canadian Nutrition Society) assembled a committee to explore and understand best practice for patient-centred hospital food service through education, research and interdisciplinary collaboration in Canada. The role of the Food in Healthcare Working Group is to foster improvements to the hospitalized patient mealtime experience, contributing to improved patient intake and optimal nutritional care to patients by developing national standards. The session will provide an overview of the work that has been completed to date and plans for the future!
