Charlotte Pilat Burns lives in Saskatoon on Treaty 6 Territory and the home of the Métis. She works in the Saskatchewan Health Authority promoting the importance of food in healing and nourishing the body, mind and soul. Charlotte is committed to partnerships that enhance the client and family experience, improve food culture and contribute to community wellbeing by reconnecting food, culture and health. As a Nourish Innovator, Anchor Collaborative Lead and Advisor, she is working with others locally and nationally on several initiatives; including Indigenous Foodways and Sustainable Menus. She is a Registered Dietitian and member of the Métis Nation – Saskatchewan.
